Welcome to two new years – western and Vietnamese. Thank you for choosing to spend some of the early part of 2020 at La Siesta Resort, and for guests here at the end of January, welcome to the Tet Lunar New Year and the Year of the Rat.
This edition of the Hoi An Post informs you of new EHG initiatives, F&B promotions in Red Bean and the Temple restaurants as well as what to see and do in Hoi An and Quang Nam Province. We also feature some Hoi An Tet traditions and how to celebrate the Lunar New Year with special Tet menus at Red Bean and the Temple.
Also known as The ‘Feast of the First Morning of the First Day’, Tet is when the new and good replace old and bad elements. People turn one year older as traditionally the New Year determines one’s age. Custom dictates actions and thoughts at the start of the lunar New Year influence one’s fate and prosperity for the coming 12 months.
For La Siesta Resort early 2020 sees an exciting development when we unveil our new La Siesta Suites Wing in March. Occupying 3,000sqm the building increases the total number of guestrooms and luxury suites to 142. Despite the expansion we continue to maintain our homely personal service and where ‘everyone knows your name’ familiarity remains the cornerstone of our business. The wings can be likened to three separate retreats, offering something for everyone, each with its own personality and character enveloped by colorful tropical gardens.
On behalf of La Siesta Resort and all the staff, we wish you a happy 2020 and a prosperous Lunar New Year. May all your wishes come true.
