The newest member of the Vietnamese hotel brand Elegance Hospitality Group (EHG), La Siesta Central has marked its grand opening in Hanoi on August 15th.
La Siesta Central Hotel & Spa is an exclusive oasis in the Hanoi Old Quarter whose conversion from a historic private dwelling was directed by EHG chairman Do Van Dan, a trained architect who takes a leading role in the design of all the properties under the group’s umbrella.
This boutique hotel embodies pure luxury, and its 27 generously proportioned rooms come with an accent on classic modernity, which adheres to the design tenets of simplicity and chic elegance showcasing the finest materials and craftsmanship.
A total of 19 rooms features panoramic views of the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake, which is just a short walk away, while others look over the fascinating rooftops of Hanoi’s centuries-old hub of commerce, the Old Quarter.
A key feature of the property is its La Siesta Spa and its attractive combination of Vietnam’s ancient spa traditions with the modern day Spa model.
“We really wanted to take our spa product up to the next level at the new hotel,” La Siesta Central general manager Chu Van Binh says. “We believe that La Siesta spa can develop into its own brand in future.”
Other hotel highlights include fine Vietnamese and international cuisine at the rooftop Red Bean restaurant and the selection of bespoke cocktails at Twilight Sky bar where guests can soak in one of Hanoi’s best views, the timeless Hoam Kiem Lake.
