The Elegance Hospitality Group (EHG) has been listed among the winners of the 2018 TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards.
Two of its Hanoi properties – La Siesta Hotel and Spa and La Siesta Trendy – were named among the Top 10 hotels in the world. Along with La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa in the ancient town of Hoi An, the two were also placed in the Top 25 Hotels in Asia.
There were further big wins for EHG in other categories. La Siesta Hotel and Spa, La Siesta Trendy, and La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa came first, second and third in the Top 25 Hotels in Vietnam, while EHG properties also features prominently in the Top 25 Romantic Hotels in Vietnam and the Top 25 Hotels for Best Service in Vietnam.
Overall, a total 14 awards were given to four of the group’s hotels in five “Top 25” categories. “We are proud to receive these 14 awards and about the recognition from our amazing guests,” said Do Van Dan, EHG Chairman. “Our staff are passionate about their jobs and we all aspire to be the ‘best of the best’, ensuring every guest experiences wonderful memories. The Hanoi-headquartered company has helped redefine the boutique accommodation experience in Vietnam since debuting in the capital with the Hanoi Elegance Hotel in 2006.
The prestigious awards, which are based on customer feedback on the world’s largest travel site, have become one of the hospitality industry’s most eagerly anticipated list of honors. It was no surprise, therefore, that winners of the awards were covered extensively in major media around the globe, with EHG a major beneficiary of all the attention.
TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site, providing hotel and restaurant reviews as well as other travel and tourism information. Its Traveler’s Choice Awards is now in its 16th year, with winning properties recognized for their value, service, customer satisfaction, and quality. Winning hotels were selected based on millions of customer reviews and opinions collated from the site during the past year.
