Elegance Hospitality Group has officially announced the closing of Elegance Hotel Ruby. After nine years of business, small and cozy Hanoi Elegance Ruby closes its doors on 1st June this year.
Opened in 2008, Ruby is one of EHG’s longest-operating properties and much loved by thousands of guests. However, times change. The EHG business has evolved greatly over the past nine years. The focus now is on higher standard properties offering a much wider range of services and facilities. The ability of Hanoi Elegance Ruby to grow in line with the group’s vision and with what EHG guests now expect, is greatly hampered by the building’s physical limitations regarding its size, lack of space and its location.
The EHG operation has always been very successful and perceptive in knowing when to close a property and re-invest in an alternative one with the right structure and hospitality potential. Therefore, as Hanoi Elegance Ruby no longer matches EHG’s requirements we bid farewell to the hotel as the group channels investment into a new and bigger property. Once the new hotel is opened the team from Elegance Hotel Ruby will transfer over to the new member of group, La Siesta Central. La Siesta Central will be a five-storey, 27-roomed exclusive boutique hotel overlooking the old streets at the front with uninterrupted views of HoanKiem Lake from the back. The hotel will feature a branch of Red Bean Restaurant on the 7th floor and upper terrace 70, while La Siesta Spa will be located on the mezzanine level.
La Siesta Central will be located at No. 1BCau Go Street, opens August 2017.
