LADIES OF THE GUEST RELATIONS TEAM EMBODY THE TRUE MEANING OF HOSPITALITY

Hospitality starts from the heart. First and last impressions count and the front desk guest relations experience sets the tone for a guest’s entire stay. A strong service culture, genuine authentic care and attention as well as really engaged individuals represent the brand.

The four ladies of the Guest Relations team – Thuan, Xuan, Hoa and Uyen – are proud to be the ‘go to’ people for anything and everything relating to a guest’s stay at La Siesta Resort. Here is what they say about themselves and why they love their demanding job.

The four feel honored when meeting and welcoming visitors to La Siesta Resort and to Hoi An. As Uyen points out each guest is like a family member or friend; the team work seamlessly together to help, advise and make each visit extra special. Every guest is an individual, no one is the same and the Resort’s four ladies are skilled at anticipating and ‘reading someone like a book’. When meeting Thuan, Xuan, Hoa and Uyen one immediately senses their love of communicating and interacting with numerous nationalities and their delight in introducing visitors to Vietnam’s culture and the Hoi An experience. For Hoa every day is a new day and she feels empowered to take the best possible care of each guest, while Thuan relishes finding solutions to problems. Xuan and Thuan remember special instances when they were able to assist guests in difficult circumstances. One involved a hospital visit, the other a visit to a police station over a lost phone. They both know their assistance and presence were reassuring for the worried guests.

The ladies take everything in their stride – from the long hours to unexpected emergencies. They are proud to work for EHG and of their part in helping the group maintain high rankings on all tourism websites. Uyen sums it up by explaining happy guests and amazing feedback give great motivation and encouragement instilling pride in the team of four.
