WHAT HAS BEEN THE MAIN FOCUS DURING 2018?
2018 has been a year of major initiatives relating to rebranding and consolidation. Firstly, the structure is now in place as we launch our new upscale La Siesta brand across three clear categories – Premium, Classic and Trendy. This clarifies the brand positioning, hotels in each category embody the atmosphere and design of that category
Secondly our award winning La Siesta Spa has been rebranded and relaunched as La Spa giving it a more independent identity while still clearly aligned with EHG. Our third rebrand sees The Gourmet Corner restaurant join the Red Bean ranks as it becomes known as Red Bean Lo Su. This brings us to the Red Bean name; now each branch is named after its location ie. Red Bean Ma May, Red Bean Cau Go and so on.
Last year our second sky bar opened – the Diamond Sky Bar at La Siesta Lo Su. Through a clever design concept, the hotel’s rooftop was transformed into three overlapping terraces giving 360 degree views of Hanoi.
EHG NEVER STANDS STILL. WHAT IS IN THE PIPELINE FOR 2019?
2019 is an important year of expansion for EHG. Early this year our latest hotel in the premium range opens – La Siesta Premium Hang Be. It has 50 guestrooms and suites, Cloud Nine restaurant, La Spa and an ingeniously designed rooftop bar, which undoubtedly will be a modern iconic symbol in the Old Quarter. The Lighthouse Sky Bar is modeled on a boat and comes with its own lighthouse. The other important factor is we have incorporated plentiful greenery, plants and flowers in the hotel’s external architecture bringing nature to our guests. Mid-year sees the opening of a third wing as our Hoi An resort expands to meet guest demand. There will be 30 new guest suites and a third pool as well as extended tropical gardens.
