The former Essence Hoi An Hotel and Spa in Hoi An, Vietnam has returned as La Siesta Resort & Spa following a major expansion and rebranding. The property has also unveiled its new 37-room East Wing, which was designed by Elegance Hospitality CEO Do Van Dan to harmonize with the West Wing’s colonial, low-rise architecture style.
The expansion hosts a variety of accommodations including poolside suites with deep wooden bathtubs as well as private Swedish saunas. Duplex suites are equipped with clawfoot bathtubs and expansive balconies that overlook the pool. Premium Terrace suites span more than 800 square feet complete with private Jacuzzis. All guestrooms are fixed around the expansive saltwater swimming pool.
Handcrafted teak furniture in the new wing complements polished wood floors and patterned tiling, evoking Old World charm. Amenities include an elegant spa lounge and the poolside Temple restaurant.
